Maternity Leave ENDS
Wow…six weeks ago my world was turned upside-down. Six weeks and one day ago I was complaining bitterly about how sick of pregnancy I was. The next night I gave birth to my beautiful second son Lucas. Who, despite his intense cuteness, has brought his share of non-sleeping and fussing, which in turn, has given me my share of non-sleeping and fussing.
And here I was, promising that I would ‘pop in’ and blog every few days. One word for that: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I have a new respect for working mothers who have to return to work sooner than 6 weeks. Six weeks in itself is challenging, but I am missing my shop and sewing a lot, and since new babies keep you at home a lot, why not? So I am officially back in business.
In the meantime, I have been dabbling with a few new ideas and sewn a few projects here and there and have come up with some new onesies, and a girl’s dress that is still a work in progress. And you can see them (not the dress, it’s not ready) in tomorrow’s post.
