Shannon Fabrics Quilt-Along Contest!

Sharing is caring!

Are you ready for a super fun contest?  As you may know, I now have five different “puff” quilting patterns for sale and I’ve also been working with Shannon Fabrics this year.  They so generously donated the fabric that I used for this new Twin+ Puff Quilt Pattern!

Since Shannon Fabrics has come out with a super cute line of chevron cuddle fabric this year, we are teaming up to bring you a “Chevron Christmas in July” Quilting Contest!  It’s very easy to enter.

If you have created any type of project (quilts specifically) using minky or cuddle fabric, we’d love for you to enter your project in this contest!  If you haven’t made anything but want to enter, now’s your chance to get one (maybe a Christmas present for something this year?) finished!  You can purchase any of my patterns for 20% off using the code SHANNON (only works in my etsy shop) and get your minky project finished by the end of July.  You have until July 31st to finish your project and enter it in the competition!

THE Prize:  Enough cuddle fabric from Shannon Fabrics to make a twin-size quilt using the new Honeybear Lane Twin+ Puff Quilt Pattern, which is also included in the prize!  You will also win enough Fairfield poly-fil and thread to complete a twin size puff quilt also!  This is a valuable prize and a perfect prize to win for that quilting project you’ve been wanting to do!  (This prize is valued over $150!)

The contest will be judged by myself, Ellen from Shannon Fabrics, Judy from Fairfield, and my friend Sachiko from Tea Rose Home.  We will pick our favorites and then narrow it down to one.

How to enter:  Link up any project you’ve made using minky and please link back to www.honeybearlane.com.  Then enter the Rafflecopter.   (Winner will be disqualified if you have not completed all the appropriate steps.)

Good luck!

  1. I had so much fun making a child’s beanbag chair with Shannon Fabrics cuddle fabric from Crafty Geminis tutorial! (I also made a flannel liner to safely hold the beans inside.). I’m ready for my next project, and your puff quilt would be the perfect project!

  2. I LOVE the new chevron minky! I’ve been coveting it since I first saw it and wondering what I could use it for – a big, soft puffy quilt is perfect. 🙂 Excellent giveaway, thanks for doing this!

    1. Oh, I guess I should also say that I linked up! I used minky for our first daughter’s crib bedding and it turned out exactly how I hoped – soft, feminine, and over the top. 🙂 After two boys, I was ready to let loose with the pink!

  3. I linked up! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Have had my eye on this awesome chevron cuddle fabric for awhile now! This is an amazing giveaway. Linked up my very first sewing project I ever sewed, a minky quilt for my first baby. Thanks!

Did a full-size puff quilt with minky on one side and various parisian-themed patterns on the opposite side. LOVING chevron, so would love to make a new quilt!

  6. I linked up a couple! I LOVE using minky in projects!
