To Market, To Market

Sharing is caring!

For fear of sounding like TAMN, I love Anthropologie. Who doesn’t though, really? I use it all the time as inspiration for crafting and design. I even made my friend a replica of this necklace:
So anyway, after a long discussion with my sister who has two daughters ages 9 and 7, she convinced me to enter the market of girls’ dresses size 5-10. She has a very hard time finding dresses for that age that she likes, that her girls like, and that are modest and not so “baby prostitute” or “Hannah Montana meets High School Musical” I can’t even express how excited this prospect makes me. I love designing clothes, skirts and dresses especially, and I would love to base some of my future designs on these three Anthropologie dresses: What do you think? Beautiful or no? Of course I would make my designs original and age-appropriate, but I just love the patterns and textures of these three dresses. I also put up a new poll, so please vote on it. Do you think this is a good market for me to enter?

Yes, I think it is a great area for you to enter. My friend Jeni has such a hard time finding age appropriate dresses for her daughter who is 5. I have all boys but I hear lots of momma's complaining about the lack of appropriateness out there!

Wow! Go for it. Definitely a good thing! The older they get the more trashy the clothes are in the stores… humph!
