What I Wore Today

Sharing is caring!

I have some exciting news.  Today I wore a size 4.

I haven’t been doing great with my weight loss the last couple of weeks because I had this obnoxious cold and truthfully, just haven’t been motivated. But starting Monday, I am going to start running every morning before the Hub goes to school. But even still, all my ‘fat’ pants are WAY too big and I’m constantly hiking them up so I found these jeans for only $15. They are skinny jeans, ironically.

You don’t actually have to be super skinny to wear these, as I originally thought. As I learned from the blog I am Stylish, you are supposed to wear skinny jeans with flowy, loose tops. (I’m realizing how incredibly behind the times I am sounding here.) But just as I didn’t wear flared jeans until I was in 9th grade, I am just now trying out the skinny jeans. They are fun. And I can’t wait to wear them with boots in the winter!

I don’t love taking pictures of myself…I’m no ANTM.  But you can see my ‘smize’ in the middle picture…haha!
Shirt:  My own creation:  The Apron Shirt (I’m a little obsessed with aprons, aren’t I?) Sandy Henderson Fabric
Undershirt:  $10 at Downeast
Pants:  $15 at Downeast
Shoes:  Some gold ones I’ve had forever
Reflections:  Maybe I should get some cuter shoes to wear with these for everyday.  They are also super long, but I like the cuffed look.  They fit well, but they will fit better if I lose a couple more pounds.

  1. I am SOOO jealous! I just had my second baby on june 8th and I am recently out of the weight I gained with him. Now I am moving onto the weight I gained with my first pregnancy, but I will lose the weight (fingers crossed).

Love the top and the jeans are super cute. YAY for skinny jeans =)
