Capturing Raw Moments with Your Baby

Sharing is caring!

So my best friend usually takes our family pictures.  She’s done it for several years and does such a great job.  But she lives in Utah and even in my three weeks there over the last several months, stuff kept coming up that prevented us from getting the pictures done.  And now my baby is nearly nine months old!  Babyhood is escaping him as fast as he can crawl out the door.  So today I took a quick moment and set up my Photo Booth program on my computer…
69 pictures of me and my babe, just playing.  No editing, no cropping.
Just Raw, Unadulterated Moments.
This is just us with my weird expressions and my baby’s blurry movements.
I have decided to get this collage printed poster size so I decided to make it black and white…
I think it’s going to be fun.
It was fun.
P.S. I’m not dropping him in some of those picture, I was just picking him up.  C’mon!
P.P.S. I know this collage isn’t 69 pictures.  I had to delete some.  Let it go, Brian.

  1. So awesome! I am so bad about getting pictures of my daughter and me together. I have a ton of her…but I want her to look back and see us as a family. This is really a neat idea!

Oh so fun! Did you download this program or did it come on your computer. This would be so fun!

Those pictures are awesome. As a single mother it is so hard to capture the cute moments between my son and I. I have a ton of him and only a few blurry ones of US. What program do you use? I would def be interested.

I have a Mac and it's a standard program that comes with it called Photo Booth. I'm not sure about PCs but you could easily just set up your camera on a small tripod with a short timer (that's all that photo booth is, its just easy to use.) You could google 'photo booth for windows' and see what knock-off programs come up! Sorry I can't be more helpful! 🙂

I follow your blog because I love those puffy quilts – so creative and cute! It's been awhile since I've been to your blog, so I just saw that you're closing your shop. I just wanted to say bravo!! You're making such a great decision with closing your shop indefinitely. Your kids/hubby need you so much more and what you're doing as a mom and a wife makes so much more of a difference (even though it's hard to realize) than anything else and I appreciate your good example 🙂 It's easy for other things to take over the more important things! Good luck 🙂

  6. I am sure that is going to become one of your MOST FAVORITE and cherised collages, GREAT JOB!!!!!

  7. I would say, "how did you know?" but obviously you know me too well.
