I think it’s every woman’s dream to decorate and design a beautiful nursery.  I still haven’t gotten to do it yet.  Sure I’ve thrown some decorations in my kids’ room, but believe ME that is not the same thing.

I want to be pregnant when I do it (so I have a particular baby in mind), a room completely devoted to that baby and NOTHING ELSE (<–That’s huge for me) and spend nine months carefully considering every item that goes in that room.
I want wood floors and soft plush rugs.  I want a white arm/rocking chair, I want a beautiful white paned windowfriendly stuffed animals that floods in the afternoon light.  I want the walls to be a soft color, the bedding to be plush and calming, and to keep my baby company at night.
Doesn’t that sound great?
In the meantime I will continue to be inspired by rooms like these…

  1. The nursery is my favorite part of having a baby! (besides the actual baby…)

We have a second baby on the way but I already decorated a nursery for our first baby. I still like it and don't want to change it for the next one so it will stay the same (a little sad to not do it this pregnancy) but I do get to decorate a new 'big girl' room for my 18 mth old 🙂
