Curry Brown Rice

Ingredients
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups fat-free low-sodium chicken stock
  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
Instructions
  1. Sautee the onions until tender. Mix up the other ingredients, minus the rice and stir well. Then add the rice and onions. Simmer on the stove for 40 mins or microwave for instant rice for 13 minutes.
