Volunteer like Miss Piggy
Has everyone seen this? It is seriously pretty freaking awesome. I checked it out last night and I am all set to participate! All you have to do is go to the site, look up local volunteering opportunities through the site (and register for them through the site) and then DO the volunteer work. What do you get?
One FREE day at the happiest place on earth: Disneyland. Free!!! I can’t even believe that. One ticket for an adult costs 72 bucks. And some of the volunteer experiences are only a few hours long, so it’s like getting paid to work for a few hours. If you have kids older than 6, they can do the volunteering too and earn their free ticket. What a great way to teach your kids to give back to the community while also teaching them the gratification of working to earn something!
I may be pregnant, but I am already planning a labor day trip. We are hoping to convince friends to do this with us so we have someone to help out with our kids…is that conniving?
I just signed up for that last week, since we're going there in May. I'm knitting a prayer shawl for a local hospital as my volunteer work. I don't mind at all, but it's really going to save us some money.

And that post you were talking about sounds awesome. There's a wealth of information out there, I'm sure. I have actually had better success at selling my bags with Facebook! I've sold about 40 on there!!
