Cookies and Milk Party

Sharing is caring!

Are you looking to throw a fun Christmas party?  I really wanted to do one this year so I threw together a little party “mockup” plan using these fabulous Cookies & Milk printables from Hostess With the Mostess.  Check it out…

Cute, right? I’m really proud of myself for my Photoshop skills at working these images together. But I think we’re all in agreement that the printables really make the party. They are just those extra details that bring everything together and give it that cohesive feel.

I actually started the plan out by picking out which printable set I liked the most and then pulling the colors from them for the other decorative accents. The cookies and milk theme was so easy to work with as well…I mean what are you going to serve at a cookies and milk party? Um…how about cookies and milk?

From this table set, you can see the printable collection includes a bunting pennant banner, two 5×7″ prints, tent label cards, and party circles (not shown are party flags–those little flags you stick on straws.) Just print them out on your printer (mine is an HP which we love) and cut them out and put them into your party scheme.

Ideally I would love for a Christmas party to go something like this:  My planning and preparations have gone seamlessly and everything is set up and ready to go by the time the guests arrive.  The guests arrive and I’m there at the door to greet them and take their coats.  They start to mingle and help themselves to the goodies and admire the decorations.  Then we maybe play a game or have an ugly sweater contest or just have great conversation.  And everyone leaves a few hours later feeling relaxed and happy.  And of course I would actually remember to take lots of fun pictures to post on Facebook and Instagram.
