Instant Fort: Just add blankets

February 22, 2010

Ack! Is it Monday already? I have been wracking my brain for a good craft to do to post about. But I spent all Saturday sewing and not wood-block painting or whatever and my creativity is feeling a little shot. Does this count as a craft? Please ignore the laundry basket (which of course is the reason the sheet was out) and the bike that is awkwardly jumping in the picture. Oh heck, there are too many things in this picture I would like you to ignore, so whatever. I have a toddler at home, nuff’ said.

I have to say, doing this blog is getting kind of difficult. Wanna hear my to-do list?
Take care of child
Be eight months pregnant
Cook delicious and healthy dinners each night
Spend time with loving husband
Serve in my church duties
Promote home business
Sew customer’s stuff
Keep house reasonably clean
Keep self from burning dirty apartment to the ground
Blog for family
Blog for business
Do crafts for business/craft blog
Find time to somehow fit in all the other stuff: laundry, grocery shopping, doc appts, play dates, real dates, exercise, read, sleep

Okay, so maybe I will cut myself a little slack on this one.

Well, as much as I enjoy reading about your craftiness, I am a huge fan of cutting yourself some slack. Also, cool fort!

This might be encouraging 🙂 It's the first in a series of posts about the stages of blogging 🙂
