Cook Up a Mess with Clorox!

Sharing is caring!

 I love Clorox.
And I would say that even if they weren’t paying me
(because yes, they are paying me but all these opinions are still purely my own!)
Remember how I now have a white rug?  And a white slipcover?
And kids?
Clorox bleach makes having white possible with kids.  And they have some other awesome cleaning products…like the Clorox wipes?  PERFECT solution if you’re lazy like me and only do a quick wipe down of the bathroom sink every few days.  And I use them all the time to wipe up food messes on the kitchen table because they kill all the germs.  My new favorite Clorox product is called Clorox Clean-up which is a spray.  I’ll rave more about that later.
So I was thrilled to be asked to share this with you:

It’s super easy to enter:

  1. Make a mess with your kids.
  2. Take pictures.
  3. Upload pictures to the “Cook Up a Mess” Facebook Contest Page.
  4. Give a few details about it.
  5. Wait to see if you win!!

Here’s the mess that we made:

We made an Easter cheesecake.  Started off pretty normally, innocently enough…maybe stole a few licks of the batter...

But then color entered the picture…and things got wild.  Yes that is me pouring purple chocolate directly into my son’s mouth.   Bad mom…or good mom?  🙂  Good thing the hubby is a dentist.
I have to say, it was liberating to encourage him to make a mess rather than not.  It was almost like he had forgotten how with this new-found freedom.
Look at those cute and disgusting handprints…
Messy kitchen!  Except I took this BEFORE we went hog-wild with the colored chocolate finger-painting, so it was a lot worse!

Time to clean up!

Pick up all the garbage first…

Then Clorox to the rescue!

My two favs besides the straight-up bleach:  Wipes and Clean-up Spray

My kid loves using these wipes to clean up messes.
And less than 10 minutes later, the kitchen was literally sparkling clean.  No, REALLY.  The Clorox Clean-up spray was so effective at not only cleaning and disinfecting my kitchen counters, but it got rid of stains that had been on there for months!  My kitchen hasn’t been this clean in an embarrassingly long time.  I really love that it kills bacteria from raw eggs and meat too.  I. love. this. stuff.

So now it’s your turn to make a mess!  Here’s some ideas to get started:

You only have 2 days left to enter!  Remember, just make a mess with your kids and take a picture or two.  So if you are planning on doing a fun and messy activity with your kids anyway, just snap a quick photo and upload it to the Facebook page!  And you never know, you could win one of these seriously awesome prizes:

I know, right?!  Just from taking a quick picture of your messy kids!  I want a trip to New York!
Okay, enough talk.  Go make a mess!
