This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of dio for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I just discovered the most awesome website…dio.com.  It’s way more versatile for users of every interest, but for me, it is kind of like what I wish my blog really was.  I have a feeling that I’ll be spending a lot more time on Dio.com! photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at101633AM_zps77d064bd.png Here’s what it is:  Basically you create a ‘place.’  Your place can be anything really, it can be an actual destination or it can be a place for you to share all your interests.  The place I created is what else–Honeybear Lane!  It’s a culmination of all my latest projects and posts that you’ve seen here, but with a LOT more organization and visual appeal. photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at103748AM_zps2566da57.png It works kind of like a ‘house.’  You can build a room for each interest.  So for my Honeybear Lane house, I created five rooms (so far):  Craft Room, Ellie’s Nursery, Nautical Boys’ Room, Cooking in the Kitchen, and Aqua and Green Dining Room.  These are all the rooms I’ve worked on/in the most over the last year and want to share. photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at104756AM_zps6db3f231.png For each room, you can make the room really feel like you’re there.  You can set the featured image as well as a background image that makes you feel as if you’re standing in the room.  You can describe the room also. photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at102812AM_zps15ee41de.png Then within each room, you create objects.  These objects can be interactive with an action attached, like a video or even make the object a portal to another room.  Seriously, I could spend hours here and I probably will.  My objects so far aren’t very interactive, but I’d like them to be. photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at110053AM_zpsde81c578.png Then you create other rooms and exits to each room so it’s easy to navigate your Place. photo ScreenShot2013-04-16at110041AM_zps6b559b4d.png For those of you who haven’t created objects or photographed them (like bloggers do), you can still use Dio.com in all sorts of ways.  You can clip photos from the internet and then post them in rooms of your Place…like all the places you want to visit on your next vacation, or all the recipes you want to try this summer.  It’s so visual and so organized.  And VERY easy to use.

  7. I signed up with this email. I started a room about food I’ve made, but I’m getting so many more ideas reading all these posts about dio. We might be moving soon; this would be a great way to keep track of the houses we’re looking at and the ones we like.
