Staying Hydrated this Summer

Sharing is caring!

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Brita, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #BritaOnTheGo http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

We had a soccer game on Saturday…along with 4 million other kids in the world.  Soccer is THE sport, am I right?  But my son loves it and will play it rain or shine.  But we tend to forget one little super important thing…a water bottle!  I always forget to drink water!  I needed to get a good water bottle ASAP—for me and my kids.

Not to mention it’s about to start getting hot.  Utah is a high elevation and closer to the sun.  So our UV rays can burn you in 10 minutes and make you so, so hot when standing in the sun.  My kids have lots of sports going on right now and I go running in the morning.  We need aqua.  Mucho agua.

I don’t drink enough water as it is and I have a preference for bottled water.  I think if I could only drink bottled water, I would drink more, but I feel guilty for the time and waste when drinking bottled water.  So when I went to Walmart to look for a good water bottle (you have to look in the hardware section), I was interested in these bottles by Brita, with a built-in filter.

These bottles will be my key to keeping me and my kids hydrated this summer.  We can take them wherever we want and as long as there is some type of clean water supply we can put the water in the bottle and the chemicals and whatever is in there will be filtered out, leaving us with great tasting water.

These Brita filtered water bottles come in a variety of styles and materials–you could get a hard one or a soft plastic squeeze one.  They are all BPA free, of course.  I opted for the squeeze kind because it seems like that would be the easiest for us to drink while running or playing sports.  And if they wanted to customize it, is is easy to do with stickers or markers or whatever.  But we will definitely be staying hydrated this summer with these!

  1. I totally used those Brita water bottles in my mission. It’s a staple of living in California to have water bottles; NOBODY drinks tap water. Those water bottles were gooooooooood stuff.
