Wow–what a weekend. A little over a week ago, my grandmother passed away at age 92. It was hard to really let her go, but we all were relieved for her. She had dementia for the last several years and her last months were spent on hospice care, pretty unresponsive lying in bed. She was ready. My grandfather is so heartbroken and my own heart aches for him. The funeral was completely beautiful and a day I will never forget.
As I listened to the talks given at the funeral, I thought about how good a job my Grandma did at keeping her priorities in line. She always her family and her church service first. She was an expert homemaker and was able to teach her children everything she did or cared about. I realized that I want to be a lot more like that than I have been. I could never give up my blog and business completely (despite being tempted at times!) because of all the hard work I’ve put into it. And a mom really needs to have something that’s HERS, that makes her feel fulfilled as a woman. I guess you could call it my hobby. 🙂
However this little hobby of mine has been taking up more time than I have and I feel like no matter how hard I work, I keep coming up short. And I know this blog has been struggling to stay afloat with craft and sewing ideas. The fact is that I just need help!
So I have a question for you.
I’m putting out a call for about 8 contributors to write an ORIGINAL post/tutorial for Honeybear Lane once every two months. In exchange, I will promote your blog and projects on this blog, Facebook page, Twitter, and Pinterest. You will be able to have your 125×125 blog button on my sidebar. And finally, you will have a short bio on a special Contributors page!
Honeybear Lane averages 90,000 pageviews a month with over 5000 subscribers and about 2,200 Facebook fans. I would love to have you join my team and share your creativity with everyone! I’m looking for bloggers in these areas: sewing, quilting, home DIY, printables, crafting, kids crafts, baby projects, and recipes. To apply, fill out the form below!
